Abstract : Globally, water resources are a major concern. The valuable water resources of Liberia, which are crucial to the ecosystem of the nation, are under severe threat as a result of both the availability and use of water, rapid urbanization, industrialization, population growth, and low environmental awareness. Monitoring and evaluating these resources is urgently required since they provide crucial data for managing water resources and making sustainable decisions. The rising urbanization of Liberia has resulted in a widening urban-urban gap. The idea that metropolitan areas in Africa are always advantageous was called into doubt. The goal of the paper is to highlight water resource management strategies for increasing effectiveness and preserving the environment. The study's objective was accomplished by comparing water efficiency by examining strategies for improvement of water efficiency and protecting the environment water resource management.
